Tax Associate
Our Situation:
We are looking for a motivated, talented, energetic, enthusiastic individual with 2-3 years of tax preparation experience to prepare various corporate, partnership, and individual returns in a fast paced, small firm environment.
What would you actually do?
Prepare business and individual returns.
Prepare tax planning assignments.
Research tax issues
Recognize potential problems within engagements and discuss these with the manager or partner.
Prepare tax projections and other tax planning strategies.
Prepare other tax consulting projects, as needed
Continue developing technical skills with emphasis on developing an area of expertise.
Maintain excellent relations with client
Communicate with supervisor regarding work-loads and project status.
What are the job requirements?
Bachelor's in accounting required, Masters in Tax preferred
2-3 years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of UltraTax or GoSystems strongly preferred
